Hmm, I have another stinking cold and I'm feeling mighty sorry for myself. You know when you reach the point of being so over being sick? So anyhoo, instead of focusing on my feeble physical state, I am listing some of the things that have made me smile in the last few days:-
#1 -Today I'm off work so I have been able to do this
...all day just cos I wanted to. Although admittedly, it looked more like this
#2 - Good things come in small packages... from blogging friends

#4 - Looking at this weeks thrifted finds

Not too shabby eh?
#5 - The sun has been shining today. Defiantly pouring through the gaps in my drawn curtains just to say "come on Lucy, it's really not that bad".

ReplyDeleteGet well soon, any sun has disappeared again, so it's only good for staying in bed anyway! I wish even had such a thing as 3 items for a quid in our charity shops, best we get is a very occasional half price day in one of them. x
ReplyDeleteVery unusual around these parts too. There are certain chains that are so retro savvy it's a joke. I couldn't believe my eyes when I found these treasures among the chipped mugs and Ikea tea light holders :) x
