Up Above The Streets and Houses...

I thought I'd do my own version of Rainbow nails:-


Whaddya think?  A much less professional photograph and finish come to that but I was very happy with them all the same.  I couldn't stop looking at my hands all day! 

I did however try to stick to the correct spectrum of colours


And these were some of the polishes used 


Since then I've been obsessed with having colourful hands and have been constantly sporting different variations on the same theme



My obsession has become such that I felt compelled to splash out on a handful of new Barry M nail paints to extend my colour palette!

Here's to rainbows.  One of the most beautiful manifestations of bad weather .

    I used to love Rainbow! No wonder I grew up loving Psychedelia! And I blame Count Duckula for my goth side

    I flipping LOVED Rainbow Brite as well as Rainbow. Geoffrey actually lived opposite a friend of mine in Portsmouth!!!

    Ahh! Sweets! Love your nails Lucy! I've been wanting to try out that Barry M Peachy colour? What's the opacity like? definitely going to do rainbow nails this week!

      Its called Peach Melba and the coverage is really good. I'd say it takes 2 coats, 3 max xx

    Love, love, love those nails! That's the one thing I sadly neglect but am always compelled to get more experimental with. Anything rainbow draws me in - so now I want to run to the local drugstore and pick up an array of nail polish colors and get to it! Rainbow Brite <3 - I just found my old Rainbow Brite doll a couple of weeks ago:) xx

    Love your rainbow nails and that fabulous pink hair, too. Rainbow nails don't seem to sir right on me, I think they detract from the ludicrous amount of jewellery I wear. xxx
    PS Thanks for the Goofbay reminder, I used to use it religiously until I forgot my password, must reset it and spend longer in bed.
