I am a relatively recent follower of Kate's but I was immediately struck by the use of colour in her ensembles.
Her style is very retro 1960's with the dreamiest kitschy candy shop colour pallet
She has the most fabulous collection of coloured tights I've ever seen!
And check out the shoes!
I love the pale blue accents in this outfit
Of course her trademark pink hair and beehive are very much a part of the overall look
Being a bit of an autumn girl traditionally I have tended to shy away from pastel, Spring like colours in the past, but since discovering Kate's blog I have been well and truly inspired to branch out into aquas, lilacs, corals, pale pinks, and mint greens. And what better time to experiment for us Brits with Spring being merely in its infancy. Bring it on!
Thank you Kate for letting me share. If you haven't already go take a look at her blog for more of the same.

ReplyDeleteI know, right. I can't believe I'm such a recent follower. Everyone else is probably well ahead of me on this x
DeleteEek I think I just fell in love with her.
ReplyDeleteJust been catching up on your blog - I hate summer a bit too =/ maybe these yummy pastels will ease us in!
xx
That's what I'm thinking too. It hasn't gotten too hot yet so I don't mind too much. Best of both worlds! x

ReplyDeleteShe is such a cutie! :) x
ReplyDeleteHi Lucy, thanks for introducing us to this blog!! These pictures actually made my heart skip a beat-so lovely and cute. I spent too many years as a 'goth' and really struggle sometimes wearing colour with colour-I always seem to need some black but this is really inspiring and I'm going to give it a try myself. ps I used to have pink hair and I loved it but I have a job now and it wouldn't go down well there....boo hiss to working for a living-lol.
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean. I was traditionally a goth chick and always struggled so much with colour. It's only recently I've started to embrace it. I would love to see some pics of you with pink hair! x
DeleteOooh wow, she looks wonderful!!!! I'll definitely go and have a peek!
ReplyDeleteI love these spring looks! I am new to your blog and I'm so glad I found it! I invite you to check out mine! =)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
