It's October. My favourite month of the year. Autumn is here and my thoughts have turned to dark nights and graveyards, abandoned old buildings and foggy landscapes, Victoriana and pre-Raphaelites, skulls and faeries
Fabulous images, Lucy! Think I might need to do a graveyard photo shoot soon... Not to mention putting my Goth/Steampunk black velvet dresses on Ebay! xxxx
funnily enough we just walked through a graveyard and The Prince said "Look, everyone died here and there is a baby one who died." Just cos he saw a small shrunken headstone that had gone deep into the earth because it is so old! Bless him!!!! lovely pics! how are ya darl? x x
I love the picture with the red rose petals it is amazing! I have recently found you blog and I'm glad that I did. I'm your newest follower and really look forward to more posts from you. If you like, please check out my blog as well at www.ourlondonwardrobe.com xxx
Ooh love these images! I defiantly feel inspired to write after looking through these photos! The rose petal picture is so enchanting... but the skulls hanging from the roof really get my Gothic imaginations going! x
As soon as it gets to October, I get all gothic too. I love all these images, really fits the aesthetic I'm into. I think October was the month I first saw Bram Stokers Dracula which set me off on the Victorian gothic trail

ReplyDeleteI am with you Lucy all the way. Have been in a very Goth/Victoriana inspired mood lately.
ReplyDeleteI have this dream of doing an early morning graveyard photo shoot. Complete with swirling mists.
