Here I am in my newly painted pink back yard (thanks dad). The light was just starting to fail and I've had to tweak these pics to within an inch to make them usable, such is the blogger dilemma of achieving decent outfit photos in winter. So I am having hat problems right now. I lost my favourite ever hat which I am seen wearing here. It was a dear friend and it has just disappeared out of my life completely leaving me bereft and very cold. Since then I have been at a loss to find a replacement. I recently ordered 4 hats in desperation, two of which have since gone back as they were not even an option. The other 2 you can judge for yourselves. I love turbans on other people but I'm just not sure they work on me. Maybe this one is a bit too high? As for the blue beanie, love the colour but I think it makes my head look a funny shape. Beggars can't be choosers I suppose.
I can't be the only one out there with this problem

ReplyDeleteOooh, I didn't know your were pregnant?????? I have a turban but not worn it out!!! Have you tried Primark and Asos? I find them good for winter wool hats x
ReplyDeleteI think the turban rocks.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just hate loosing a favourite hat! I lost my fave one on the side of a road in New Zealand. It fell out of the car as I got out, & I only realized that much further on. I'll never find a hat quite like that one again! I like both of your hats, but especially the turban one. Love that frock too. It looks wonderful with your gorgeous bump. Xx
ReplyDeleteI like both your new hats Lucy, the beanie is really cute on you, and doesn't make your head look a weird shape at all! They're both great colours too, worthy replacements for your beloved lost hat. Your back yard makes me feel all nostalgic, I miss brick walled back yards with alleys running down the back, and I love the colour you picked for it. xx
ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous in both your hats. I love my turbans but they look like they do in my head in real life.
ReplyDeleteThe pink wall is fab, a perfect backdrop for lots more outfit posts. x
BABY??????????!?!?!?!?!! I didn't know, where is the blog post announcement? Ah lovely, thrilled. I am 38 weeks now. Gulp x x. Ps you rock in that turban, oh earth mama x x
ReplyDeleteOh I've got a funny old huge head, you look waaaay better in a turban than I do, Lucy! The beanie is cute too. So stop worrying about your ability to wear hats, cos you wear them WELL!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous print on that frock, and 26 weeks? It's flying by! xxx
Love love love your dress! Perfect to wear with a dark cardi and cosy tights (as you did) for winter, and then maybe no tights and a denim jacket for summer?! Versatile!
ReplyDeleteOh, and the turban is definitely must-wear for you. It really suits you. :)

I think the turban looks great on you. The colour is lovely. Berets are usually my hat of choice in the winter. They pretty much suit everyone. Your dress is so pretty too.
ReplyDeleteOooooh what a gorgeous frock and did you know you have red stars on your elbows? ;) Your satchel is flippin' brill and oh my everyone needs a pink outside wall don't they? I love the green turban on you!! xoxox
ReplyDeleteI love everything about this look, the floral dress is so pretty, it kinda reminds of a skirt I have :) The sneaky little pics on the elbows are super cute. You look lovely and your turban is very cool xx
ReplyDeleteOh I think the turban looks so pretty on you Lucy! I know what you mean though. I'm attached to my hats and if one goes missing, it's always hard to find a replacement that I love just as much! Love the dress and those boots so much as well! That pink wall is perfection!!!
ReplyDeleteI really like how all elements match! You have a good taste!
