I thought I'd share some more of my favourite Tumblr images from this week.

So, here's the thing; there has been so
much going on recently, in the family, at work, you know how it goes
sometimes. It's gotten to the point where I feel my full attention
really needs to be focused elsewhere for a while. So, I've decided to
take a wee bloggy break for a few weeks. I know, I know, it's not like your lives
revolve around my posts or anything, and you probably wouldn't notice if I
just quietly went to ground for a while.
Truth is, I've been so behind in blog
reading and commenting lately I just thought it would be more polite of
me to let you know in advance that there is a reason and it's not just
me being rude!
So there that is.
Besides, this time of year is really not for me.
Thanks for all your tips on vintage selling. It's given me some food for
thought. Definitely something I'll be returning to in the new year when, hopefully, I will have some more of this precious stuff they call time.
The title of this post is the perfect excuse to listen to this song again
An exquisite duet between two very special artists
Enjoy
See you in 2013 folks

Beautiful images... I love the misty creepy cemetery images. Have a lovely break. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the grave yard shots. I have always loved wandering through them and find them strangely comforting. When I lived in London I used to walk my daughter through our local one to school. She loved it. It was bright and open and ran alongside an allotment. They don't always have to be scary places. Enjoy your break. Elaina :)
ReplyDeleteI love the word 'interlude', it can have different meanings depending on the context. Thank you for sharing beautiful, glorious photos here in your Interlude post Lucy, Jeremy Brett IS (was) the only Sherlock Holmes - such a powerful, melodic voice and his body language made me feel it WAS Holmes who had just popped out of Doyle's books for an hour. One must have angel wings ... I must have angel wings!! I'm looking forward to your return Lucy, I'll miss your wonderful posts. Happy Christmas to you:)) xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteSuch gorgeous atmospheric images - graveyards and fog and big angel wings, lovely!
ReplyDeleteYou take your interlude, Lucy, and we'll be here waiting to hear your news when you're ready to come back, no rush. Take care of yourself. xxxx
You find the most fabulously atmospheric pictures.
ReplyDeleteTake your time, we're here for you whenever you feel like coming back! xxx
We will all be here waiting for your next post.
ReplyDeleteI too have been known to take a month or so off from blogging every now and then.
Sometimes I just don't feel I have anything to say or I can't find the time to say what I want.
Have a lovely December see you in 2013
I thought of that lovely song as soon as I read your blog title Lucy, would be fascinating to see the two of them together wouldn't it, but I think they fell out with each other soon after recording it didn't they. You always pick such beautiful atmospheric images too, whether it's from Tumblr or your own photos. I've always loved graveyards too. The quickest way to my high school and to my best friend's house was through the local graveyard and I always enjoyed the walk, it was like a little escape from the real world.
ReplyDeleteI'll look forward to you returning refreshed and ready to blog again Lucy and I will miss your blogs in the meantime. All the best until then. xx
How DARE you! I'm gutted, I always look forward to your posts. sob sob sob. Well can you at least email me occasionally? weep weep weep. I'd forgotten you're also a fan of the Jeremy Brett Sherlock, it's my absolute favourite adaptation, isn't he wonderful. Fantastic photos, I love atmospheric graveyards. Come back soon xxxxxxx

ReplyDeletere the question you posted on my last blog post, I is a freelance writer and proofreader innit?
